By using Synthax, you confirm that:
- You have obtained all necessary patient consent in compliance with UK GDPR, HIPAA, and DTAC standards.
- You will inform patients about how their data is used, stored, and shared.
- You will comply with all legal, professional, and ethical obligations regarding patient consent.
4. Privacy and Data Use
Synthax Healthcare processes data recorded in medical settings to provide our services. While some of this data may contain personally identifiable information (PII), we want to clarify that collecting PII is not the primary purpose of our data processing activities.

- Audio recordings are automatically deleted from our systems after processing is complete.
- Any PII that may be captured incidentally during medical recording sessions is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

- AI systems, including large language models, may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate outputs.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating all AI-generated content before making any clinical, administrative, or other decisions.
- You must exercise appropriate professional judgment and apply your clinical expertise when interpreting or acting upon any information provided by Synthax.
- Synthax Healthcare does not replace professional medical judgment, clinical expertise, or established healthcare protocols.
- You will not rely solely on AI outputs for patient care decisions without proper verification and clinical assessment.
By using our services, you confirm that you understand the limitations of AI technology and accept full responsibility for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all AI-generated content.
7. Updates to Services
We may update our services and functionalities periodically, and new features may be subject to additional terms and fees.
8. Termination
We may terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if required by law. You may also terminate your account at any time.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
